Trumpet Major?

We're still celebrating Christmas. It is twelve days you know. Last night we celebrated a little too much, and today has been a bit slow.

I took Tanni out for a run over the hill, and armed with camera and tripod, thought I'd try and capture some close up shots.

This is one of the lichens on the rocks, which I think is one of the low growing leafy types. I think these are the fruiting bodies, and you can see some immature developing ones in the lower left corner..

Drilled some holes in the compost bins, and lids and they're tied on with rope now. Next gale, they'll only blow a foot away..

Put in an order to an online tool company (no advertising here!!), and when I get a dry day, I'll be able to fit a new window in the shed..
