One of our Garden Visitors
My back played up until 0300 hours this morning, so Mrs GOG was kind enough to allow me to sleep in until just before 1400 hours; although I had to wake up to take medicines at various times, before going back to sleep again. So today’s blip is of a male pheasant in our garden. At this time of year we get quite a few male and female pheasants in the garden, when they are feeding up before nesting. We get to know them quite well and give them names; this one is James.
During the afternoon, one of the chaps who is going to replace our veranda came round to take some more accurate measurements prior to its construction; this was in order to purchase the correct materials. This is a bit early as it will not actually be erected until around April time, when the weather is better.
