All is safely gathered in.
Rather fitting that it was our harvest service today then Happyframe and I came home and picked a few more sloes so that we could finish off preparing the sloe gin ready for the winter.
All we need now is a little patience, turn the bottles every now and again so the liquid mixes well with the sugar and sloes, and wait till Christmas at least.
It will be worth the wait. The sugar will have disolved and the gin wil be a rich red in colour. All ready to sip in front of the woodburner as seen yesterday.
Winter's not too bad I suppose!
