Boring friends

Thank you to the weather and travel gods. We all assembled at the Steadings waiting to surprise our guest of honour. It's amazing how quickly a plan can come together. In a week we had four surprises to hide from tiny Emma which resulted in an almost full house uni reunion (and definitely a full house at the Steadings).

Lynn's four year old son told his neighbour that 'mummy has her boring friends round'. He must have predicted our early demise as we said goodnight before 11pm! Well people had been travelling since 5.30am and the first cocktail was imbibed at 3pm! We weren't that boring.
