I think this scaffolding is propping up 2013 as it prepares to morph in 2014 in a seemingly endless mild rainy deluge.

I like the way the lines of the scaffolding poles connect with the line of lamp posts as they diminish down the promenade to the vanishing point of 2013.

Our sons have now both vanished to the south to see in 2014 in close proximity to their sister and the irresistible generational magnet that is their wee nephew !
