Bare Wood

With tons of blood, sweat and tears... you can finally see the bones of this amazing little desk. We finished the coarse sanding today... that only leaves 3 more rounds of sanding for tomorrow to prepare the wood for staining.

We're going to use a sun bleach stain on the wood. We hope the green, which was under all the white, will give it some character if we can't sand it all out.

I have so much more respect for carpenters and those who make wood furniture now. My arms are getting the work out of their life right now.
