More compost
Two weeks after I first started sorting out the compost bins I actually managed to finish the task.
Also dug up the last of the second early tatties, picked the last of the broad beans and the peas and pulled the final lot of garlic.
This garlic was the second lot of solent wight. The first lot were sown last winter and this lot in the spring. Although probably not of the enormous proportions of the winter sown, the spring sowing is pretty big. Haven't tasted it yet so don't know how the flavour compares but I think it's probably worth doing both sowings of this variety as I reckon if it's harvested 10 weeks later, it should keep until 10 weeks later.
