The rate of accretion of dents to the lid of my workflask seems to have increased recently, though if anything I'd have expected a recent slowdown following mostly switching over to the pannier which doesn't get carried about on my shoulder and therefore doesn't frequently get dropped when the strap loosens sufficiently to release the whole thing and plummet to the floor. It's now dented severely enough to have to watch which side I pour in from when it's sitting on my desk in case it causes an unrecoverable wobble.
