Italy Day 13: Lago Di Garda

Spent today re-tracing the steps of two previous family holidays, taking the bus from Verona to Lake Garda.

After a long delay caused by some roadworks I arrived in Malcesine, and headed up to the top of Monte Baldo by cable car.

Enjoyed a picnic in the company of the local residents (a herd of cows) overlooking the lake before wandering along the mountain top to take some photos of the slightly hazy view.

Had planned to take the ferry back down the lake but didn't make it back to the shore in time. Instead had a look around Malcesine's shops before another bus to the town of Garda.

Ended the day with a meal watching the sun set over the lake, then back to Verona.
