The Clean Up

A festive flood. Ho bloody ho.

Well, less of a flood, more seepage through the wall due to a flood on the road outside. Today we ripped up the carpet and underlay and now we wait for the chipboard flooring to dry out. That's our new dehumidifier doing its stuff, it seems effective.

Black moods all round here today, but thankful at least that we're all safe and sound, and actually very few belongings are damaged. We'll be replacing those carpets with a stone floor. Just in case.
