Catch the rainbow

Had a great few hours walking on the beach today at Northam Burrows - one of North Devon's finest beaches, you can eventually walk to Westward Ho! from there. Luckily the rain kept far away on the horizon but the rainbows stayed around long enough for some photography - this is an oystercatcher, one of my favourite wetland/sea birds :)
