Pure Joy

I have collected a small and wonderful group of friends here. Most of them are married, with babies... or as you saw yesterday, on their way. Yesterday, Justin and I hung out with the couples and their kids. What could be considered a major step for me... It was fine, the girls hung out with the babies and the food and the boys watched football. I watched the kids stand at the door and squeal in delight at the dogs and the dogs lick the window in delight and affection. It was pure joy. It's a simple and sweet time in life. I am incredibly thankful for the simplicity of it all.
