Le Cordon Bleu

My sweet cousin Jess is working at the famous LCB cooking school. They had their first graduation ceremony this weekend, she was in charge. Jessie is this amazing conundrum to me. Often in my mind she is this darling little girl that was always the youngest of us, but in the last six years or so of my life she has become one of the best friends I have ever had, more than a cousin, a sister, a soul mate... everything in a friendship that is easy, rich and refreshing. She is not at all a little girl, she is this force of love and a capable and talented adult that can run an entire graduation for a famous cooking school as well as bust her butt handling all the big wigs who came in to do a little fine tuning on the school at her busiest moments at her job yet. I am so proud of her and so fortunate to have her in my life. Here's a picture of the flowers I cut for her so she could decorate the tables for the graduation reception... We love white flowers.
