Sunday shadows

The sunshine this morning was brief but welcome.

It's been a quiet day. I stepped outside to collect/chop wood for the fire, but otherwise have stayed put, starting to think about what to pack to take home with me on Tuesday and what to leave until I come back in the middle of January for the long haul.

The two ceramic bottles on the right of the picture are P's latest acquisitions: old-fashioned hot water bottles! I'll stick with my 'modern' rubber one, thanks!
