Coal for the islands...

Play day today! Weathered a model wartime Bedford and placed it on the diorama to represent coal being loaded into a puffer for transhipment to some west of Scotland island. Many of these old army lorries were the lifeline for hauliers after WW11 and quite a few saw service into the 1960's.
