Day 42
Distance: 164.42 km, Top Speed: 68.2 kmph

164.42 km = 102.17 miles! I left at sunrise and arrived at sunset, but finally managed to break the 100 mile in one day mark, a new personal best.

Who would have guessed it, but flat tyre number 7 struck almost immediately after leaving Córdoba. No comment.

Between Córdoba, and my destination of Granada, I only had to cycle on one single road. This meant I could completely switch off the navigational part of my brain and focus purely on the cycling.

And, to my surprise, Andalucia actually provided some nice (albeit sparse) scenery to look at! This came in the form of a few mountainous regions as I approached Granada, thus further backing the theory that the harder the cycle, the more interesting the scenery.

Other highlights included eating the solid cylindrical block of pasta/tuna/chicken/rice/everything else that Sally and I cooked in Córdoba, and the friendly petrol station man who gave me a free bottle of water.
