Easing the pain
of having run out of Nespresso...
The recipe came from the home of the chocolate/bread combo via Clair, and very good it is too. Quite fortifying, in fact.
I fiddled, of course! I roasted whole hazelnuts and then chopped them until they were fine but not ground. And I used a bit more than the recipe said... And I added a teaspoon of cocoa powder to the cream.
I've got the urge to make it with almonds next... and maybe a chilli version?
THIS is why Nutella in a jar is the very not-good sort of bad. I dread to think what goes into 'value' alternatives...
