Red sky at night . . . .
Shepherd's delight.
Well, if this saying is true we should be in for a stunning day tomorrow :)
Began a bit of domestic cleaning starting with the deck. The furniture needs a good coat of oil (thanks to blip I can see that it was last done 2 years ago!) and, I think, the decking itself could do with some tlc. I've made a start at least, so that's good.
And for those of you wondering about how my foot is progressing . . . . . rather well I think :) I'm not sure whether the medics would approve but I have taken to taking my boot off and walking very gently on my foot. If I do too much it gets tired, or if I momentarily forget it's still healing, I might overdo it to the point a where a short, sharp reminder is sent from pain receptors to brain to remind me! But on the whole, it feels very good now. . . . . good to the point where I'm actually thinking I may be able to do a trip away in the new year.
I had planned on going to the North Island round the East Cape, Coromandel and Northland but I think I'll have to give that plan away now. I still won't be able to do much by the way of walking/exploring and the poin tof going north was to walk and explore. C'est la vie. The South it shall be.
Before I go anywhere though there's a table and 4 chairs to be oiled . . . . maybe tomorrow.
