how do they know where to go?

My mother used to quip that question when she took her meds.
She always hated to have to take any and really didn't take many until her last six months or so.

pills are pretty lame to photograph, I guess but it feels like the only thing I got done today was filling my husband's pill packs. Due to stroke, pain caused by stroke, diabetes, high-cholesterol & triglycerides, high BP, prevention of seizures and so on, (don't ask my kids about their medical history!) he takes about 25 pills a day.

one reason I should never retire - I would have to hand my retirement income over to the pharmacy each month!

so, I will ask for my mother - how do they know where to go when you swallow them?
