The last of the pre-Christmas fixtures shiver their way to a floodlit conclusion, and Albion have ostensibly stopped the rot with an 85th minute Matej Vydra goal securing a 1-1 draw against Hull. We can enjoy our festive season with some cautious optimism rather than doom and gloom.
