Was It Really So Long Ago

Brilliance

We travelled into London by bus, DLR (which is always exciting when sitting in the driving seat) and tube. After lunch in Covent Garden and a brief interlude being amazed by a levitating Yoda, we headed to Waterstone's armed with book tokens. We came away with a fine selection of titles, including 'the smelly sprout' (is there any other kind?) but only after having made a pit stop at The Round House, which put an end to the much fabled 'dance of the needy' if you know what I mean.

The New London Theatre was within easy reach on foot and we soon arrived to the splendour of the pictured facade and Peter Ginn of Tudor Monastic Farm fame standing outside. After having queued interminably for the Ladies we took our seats.

It was truly a stunningly performed play, engrossing the audience, young and old alike. Highly Recommended by us.
