.......All aboard!............

A meeting this afternoon with the lovely Drama Queen and the delightful hebs and her husband.

A drink in a nice pub while we all got to know each other......a journey down a fearsome road to the town centre...a visit to the restored railway station....a wander to see the giant sculpture of the Urn.....a meeting with a guy riding a 1936 motor cycle....a dash into the coffee shop to get out of the rain....and back to the station in time for this engine to arrive........the Sapper.

Everywhere we went we met nice people......the bar staff.......the guy who offered to open the station waiting room for us to sit in...........the mad biker........the waitress in the coffee shop......the station guard who flagged the steam train off and then explained that he was locking up in half an hour but would leave a gate open for us as long as we promised to shut it as we left.

It was great to spend three hours in the company of three wonderful people....to make a new friend (I hope)of Drama Queen.....to not have to think about work.....or the humdrum daily things....just to chat.....and stroll....... and take photos.

So thanks guys..........I feel so relaxed tonight I might just have a lie in tomorrow!
