Gears, Wheels, Chains & Depleted Batteries

My son's new bike. He is a lot better today, though still working off his cough 'n' snuffle. P finally had a "proper" go in the park on the way to his Nana & Grandad's.
He was well chuffed with himself crunching shiftimg smoothly throught the gears and slamming tapping the brakes at the right moment.

The day was capped off with Mrs. Syetuttle's trademark vegetarian Lasagne (Quorn & fresh sheets) for tea while wayching Aurther Christmas on DVD. Nom nom.

As for the depleted batteries, one set of my AA rechargables have seen the end of their life cycle..........and using burst mode taking this shot was the final straw!
