Big Kid

It’s that time of year when you can be a kid again, as I visited Cardiff today to see the pantomime at the New Theatre. This year’s panto was Jack and the Beanstalk, headlined by Julian Clary and Mike Doyle. It was good stuff, although as you can imagine with Julian Clary some of the jokes were way over the kid’s heads.

The kids were right into it though, so much so that when Jack had to sell Daisy the Cow one little girl in our section was balling her eyes out because she was so sad. Panto is just brilliant ain’t it!

The shocking news was that I didn’t spend any money in the sales! It wasn’t for the want of trying though.
