Farmville

I thought this tractor crossing sign was kinda cute , nicer in large I think.

There are several signs like this throughout NW NJ. There are a few farms that are currently for sale so I hope whoever buys them keeps them operating as working farms. Many of them are classified as protected land which prevents them from being sold off to developers.

A bit further down the road from here, the cows were lying down. One was lying in such a funny pose, it made me smile & laugh. I should have jumped out of the car to photograph her but probably would have missed the shot anyway.

There is an old wive's tale that cows lay down when it is going to rain, or maybe when they are content or full but noone really knows. I suppose the cows know but they're not talking :)

Not sure if it is just a coincidence but we are supposed to get heavy rain tomorrow!
