Two up!

We all took a brief visit to Carsington Water near Derby on the ay up to see mum and dad. Never been there as far as I recall although it isn't that far from where I grew up. I'm sure I must have been but there's no recollection.

Only had time to walk a mile or so and then back again, but we'll be back for much longer walks or even cycle around the whole reservoir. Walking will be a definite along with all the gear. With family, dog and a schedule today, it was just camera today. Don't think I'd have got more than 150m from the car otherwise.

Off to lunch at the Red Lion in Kniveton - nice to see pubs doing food and allowing dogs and walkers with mucky boots in. Food was very good.
