We were invited to a celebratory brunch this morning in Boston. The daughter of my former teaching partner was married in Napa, California at Thanksgiving and her folks threw this party for their East Coast family and friends. It was also a bit of a bonus for us as the bride, M, is singing at our wedding and the piano player at the event will also be at our reception on Tuesday.

The rest of the family is in Boston today exploring their old favorite spots and the Aquarium. L&M will go to Logan later to pick up their sons and girlfriends when they fly in for our wedding. We'll pick the other Boston sightseers up at the train and bring them home tonight. Our ministers fly in on Monday from North Carolina, and a dear friend arrives from Maine.
