Had a text message yesterday from my daughter asking if we would like visitors today. So, with the expected lunchtime arrival of J+J it was a morning walk for me.

It was lovely to be out with no wind or rain. In a field beside the footpath to Rydal cave was a family of highland cattle having breakfast. Tricky to photograph though because they were moooooving so much.

Had a lovely meal tonight. I cooked - it's a tried and tested Delia recipe. Pud too. Will need another walk tomorrow after all that.
