Liquid Gold

If only it was liquid gold, then I wouldn't have people trying to extort money from me on a daily basis using techniques of charm, feigned offence and intimidation which have been perfected over many years.

It's getting extremely irritating but...

...it's 'just the way things are' out here so I'd better start getting used to it (I suppose).
