Stand of Trees, Cannock Chase Trekking Centre

My wife went riding today and as she had no one to ride with I offered to cross her over a busy road so that she could ride on Cannock Chase. Just at the point of crossing is the entrance to a local trekking centre, and at the gate is this lovely stand of trees. I have blipped them before, in autumn plumage, but on this occasion I liked the contrast between the bare skeleton of branches and the wispy clouds behind.
