Lazy day turned awfie busy.
Managed to contact a pal who's in town for christmas and got into town to see her for just half an hour before we both had to dash off again - better than nothing. We normally chat at a rapid rate, but today was quite a test!
Home just in time for a scheduled Skype with my aunt in Amsterdam. She normally spends Christmas with us here in Scotland, so it was strange not to have her around this year. Normal service will be resumed next year (we wouldn't be able to keep her away given there'll be a wee one on the scene then).
Made it out to the pub to meet Sam and another visiting friend. A great thing about this time of year is that everyone comes "home" for Christmas. Not so great is the fact that you get pneumonia getting to the other side of town.
