Heartfelt

This little item of loveliness arrived in the post this morning from a dear friend who lives in Brighton. We don't get to see her and her son and her partner as much as we used to but still keep in touch by text, cards and Facebook. It's so lovely I just had to scamper outside and make it my blip for today.

Last year she sent us two wooden hearts which have hung all year from the knobs on a cupboard in the room where we spend most of our time. This lovely will hang from the handle of a wardrobe next to the cupboard.

No, we don't spend most of our time in the bedroom. The wardrobe is an old Victorian one which is too big to go up the stairs. If I had a native American name it would have to be 'Dines with Wardrobe'.
