Playing with Mum

This cow and her pup spent all morning playing in the water and sunshine at Donna Nook. This will probably be the last seal photo I blip as the seals are all heading back to sea and my volunteering has come to and end for this year. It has been a great year for pups - over 1600 born to this seal colony on the saltmarshes at Donna Nook. It is all peaceful after the surge but there are still a few pups and cows in the dunes so the path is only open half way. The devastation caused by the sea surge is still evident.
