Time Out

Having brought up in the west, it was always the done thing to get dressed up if you went up to Glasgow for a day's shopping.

Thankfully, it's not the case in Edinburgh. Having ventured down to Princes Street for the first time in ages, I was sorry I wasn't in my hobnail boots and overalls to protect myself from the pushy students who seemed to be there in their thousands.

Don't know who this lot were, but at least they cleared the pavement a bit.
