Ballet

Today's main event was a trip to Munich for the ballet. Oma Gerti's Christmas present to her daughters & granddaughters (plus me).

Not a regular thing for me to be doing. My last ballet was when I was in St Petersburg on business, and my hosts took me along.

By one of those strange coincidences, today's ballet was by the St Petersburg Festival Ballet. Not who I saw in 1995, but still.

The event was at the Prinzregenttheater. Lovely.

Thanks, Oma. Really enjoyed it. Seeing a Russian prima ballerina dance the Sugar Plum Fairy was worth the trip on its own.
