Pateke, Brown Teal

I went to Tawharanui regional reserve to photograph the Pateke or brown teal.
They are one of the worlds rarest ducks with the population only about 2000-2500. I couldn't find the teal until right at the end when I met some rangers catching Tui in mist nets. They asked me what I was looking for and then led me to where they had seen some recently and we found them.
