The Forest - in snow and mist

I climbed up through the forest behind the house, heading for the lake.
The path has been obliterated by all the trees bought down in Storm Ivar a couple of weeks ago and I had to detour. As I continually zigged and zagged around all the fallen trees I lost track of exactly where I was until I suddenly arrived at the bare top of the hill, a fair way above the path.
I looked across the tops of the trees, down to the frozen lake. The forest beyond the lake was almost lost in the mist. I took the photo.
