A Very Nice Surprise

Christmas this year was full of surprises for me.

One in particular managed to render me speechless for a while as my boyfriend of 7 years proposed to me.

I think it took my whole family by shock, except my dad who Steve had already spoken to to "ask his permission".

My little sister took this picture of us together and while it isn't the best picture of me I think the smile on our faces says it all.

Now I am just panicking on what to do next as there needs to be a wedding!!!! eek.

The funniest reaction, though does go to Steve's dad who when Steve said "I proposed to Jacqueline" he asked:
"Proposed what?"

I don't think it was just my family and myself that was surprised.
