Adult Education

Christmas in Malawi is a one or two day affair, with a little bit of fuss but not alot. Our people in general are rural subsistence farmers, regularly worrying about where their next meal will cone from.
These are women from one of our Adult Ed groups, back together today as usual. This is part of the business group who do knitting and crochet for sale.Others in the group do gardening, farming and other little businesses under the umbrella of a Self Help Group.
They also have a Pilot Scheme in Literacy, focusing on reading and writing English, while some get back into Primary and Secondary Education. They are amazing groups and are only beginning to get their voice. We love them.
