15 feet of pure white snow

... well maybe a little less. We went up into the Jura mountains, just behind where we live, this morning which aren't that high ( 1000 metres or so) , but gosh there was a lot of snow, most of which had fallen in the last 2 days I think, because most of the tracks hadn't been cleared.
We had a fun walk through the forest with Dylan and took lots of photos, but as is quite often the case, this is one of the first ones I took, looking out over the lake with the Alps in the background.

Back down for lunch, walk , run (almost there with my objective) and remains of Xmas nut roast.
