Drips

Posted the next day - I seem to be a day behind myself ;]

Jim the weatherman was right - almost!

I took a leisurely breakfast then headed out to mow the lawns before the forecast rain arrived. Lawns mowed, mower stored......splash! Yup, the first of about 6 drops fell as I walked back indoors :) After about half an hour with nothing else happening I headed out and began the weeding job. Bliss! I don't know what it is about fingers in the soil but I love it (amazing because, as a general, rule I can't stand my hands being dirty!) And the soil seems soooooo warm already. It showered again after a short spell so back indoors I went. Out again after it stopped.......repeat several times until I've had enough and head indoors for some tea and a well earned post de-tox glass of vino!

As the sun was going down though I noticed a few shards of light catching a few drips on some long, slender daffodil leaves. The sparkles are camera created, not electronic. The odd colouring is because today I decided to sit down and learn what Lightroom can do. It seems pretty good and I've certainly overcome the dislike I had experienced on previous trials.
