Bird enjoying the bluebird

A walk home on a Friday morning gives me time to reflect on how Thursday went and how to approach the weekend at work, usually a leisurely affair, I try to take stock of the sights and sounds to relax before sleeping a big day ahead.

I had stopped to take practice shots for an upcoming picture, I am just waiting for the scene to develop as summer progresses, I thought I would be blipping one of those as a bit of a sneak prieview but then, as if by magic, a lone bird appeard on the phone lines.

Later as I headed to work I found another excellent blip subject in the form of an old Ford Escort, but without knowing any of the cars history, it would merely have been automotive pornography. Maybe i will be lucky enough to see its owner at some point this new year... then I've got a blip!

As it turned out, work didn't go to plan because of a minor electrical problem in the afternoon.... everyone dealt with the chaos well! Go team.
