Storm Damage, an act of God

This poor Scots Pine lost it's head to the wind. I saw this drop from my kitchen window but hadn't realised how much of the tree is now missing and amazingly no grave stones seem to be damaged, one is at a jaunty angle but there are no broken ones. The tree looks as if there was a rotten part inside. Survival of the fittest, a shame as it was a handsome specimen
