You & Me
A nice little coffee shop in Bath, where we decided to go today. We expected it to be heaving with people, but it was quieter than I've known it on any given Saturday. I guess most people had hit the online sales rather than hitting the streets, which is nice for those of us who wanted to get out and about for a bit.
Sav wanted a new portfolio to carry his artwork about in so we headed for an art shop to spend the Christmas money his parents gave him.
I wanted to spend mine in ' White Stuff ' and had already done some online research. However, once in the actual shop, I bought something totally different to what I'd been looking at online!
Popped in to see a friend, Beth, who's the manager of a ' Hotel Chocolat ' shop - obviously I had to buy a little something from there that I will be enjoying with a cup of tea after dinner tonight. ( Sav's swearing in the kitchen as I write, so I'm not sure how the spaghetti bolognaise that he's cooking is going! ).
I'm not sure what's the story about the monument outside the cafe, other than the courtyard that it's in is behind the Theatre Royal and all the hand prints are actors - even Joan Collins has her mitts saved for posterity on the other side!
