This will do nicely

This is our resident pheasant about to disappear into the hedge to find his roost for the night. We have named him Arnie because he flies up to the top of the hedge and sits there for a minute or two and just before de disappears for the night he always looks at the kitchen window (where I am standing waving him goodnight) for a while, as if to say 'I'll be back' - surprisingly, I don't feel silly doing it ;-)))
