Bird with no tail

Morning Job, then off down the A1 to Lincolnshire, to spend Christmas with Mr M's dad.

Wild and windy as we travelled but, mercifully, not too much traffic and we made it in good time.

This little bird - minus its tail - was decorating the Christmas tree. Almost identical to decorations that my parents used to have on their Christmas trees. Very fragile little things - there were fewer as the years passed. Must have been popular in the late '50s/early '60s.
