'Our House guest Tillie'

Today was our final Christmas lunch catch up, that makes it three days in a row. We drove up to Wallan to spend the afternoon with my Nana Mac, Aunties, Uncles and Cousins on my Dad's side of the family. We had a nice relaxed arvo there and heaps of food once again. Uncle Donald has bought himself a motorized scooter which he found online somewhere in America. It runs on a rechargeable battery, couldn't help myself so had to take if for a spin with both kids in tow. They both had an absolute ball on it.

When we arrived home, I got my bike out of the shed, pumped up the tyres, cleaned off the cobwebs and went for a big bike ride with Dylan. He has never ridden more than a few hundred metres or so before, but today we rode from home almost to Elthan, about a 15km round trip. He did really well on his little bike. We stopped at the supermarket in Diamond Creek for a water bottle each and then on the way home for some hot chips from Mr Rooster. Luckily the weather was perfect for a ride today. I think he should sleep pretty well tonight. Apparently when we took off Bella was quite upset that we would leave her at home, so MsMun took her with her bike down to our local train station carpark for a ride around.

Also we picked up Tillie here for the next couple of weeks from our neighbours to look after while they are away on their annual camping trip. She's a pleasure to have around.

And I'm not talking cricket again today either.

Have a great weekend all.
