Boxing Day ramble

Went for a walk first thing with LuckyGirl. She very sensibly put her wellies on, I had my walking boots on. It was unbelievably muddy and we ended up wading through mounds of mud and other unpleasant stuff. It was still fun though and a beautiful sky.

Returned home to clean up, then off to my parents for brunch, followed by a family party for 30 in the evening at the local church centre. Came home in gale conditions, one fence panel blown out in the back garden and a missing cat.

I am pooped but think I'm going to struggle to sleep with all the crashing and banging going on outside!!
