A peaceful day today - we had lunch with family at a nice restaurant and then took a little time to visit the pond. Happy to see my heron friend - I just love his graceful movements, especially closeup.

Off from work today and tomorrow - what a lovely loooong weekend!

Hope everyone is rested and relaxed after all the festivities. Thanks for all the lovely comments about my family - we count our blessings that they are all healthy and happy children. That's really winning the lottery, isn't it?
