Boxing day business ..

I went out this morning with my camera. It was beautifully sunny and the moss covered stone walls looked absolutely fab.

I did a bit of kestrel stalking .. and considered making a montage of beautiful colours.

Here's the gorgeous reservoir where I saw a distant golden eye.

The last couple of Christmases my sister in Canada has sent a 'biscuit decorating kit' - biscuits made by her, with icing and sweets to decorate them. It was mainly meant as an activity mum could take part in, but it's rather heart rending to see what a struggle she finds it all.

However, my sister and I had fun decorating them.

Sadly - I expect you can spot the ones mum did.
